About Us.

We are a small, friendly club dedicated to the enjoyment of Crown Green Bowls by members of all ages, backgrounds and persuasions.

Denby is a traditional club dating back more than 40 years and our green is set in natural surroundings backing onto woodlands. We have recently greatly improved our grounds with flower beds and containers and are continuing to improve our shelter and facilities.

If you want a quiet relaxed afternoon or evening bowling then this is the spot.

Organised social bowling takes place on Sundays and Mondays during bowling season (beginning on 23th March 2026), weather permitting, and then each subsequent Sunday and Monday until the end of the season. The aim of each session is to practice and improve but above all to have an enjoyable, no pressure experience.
